Pittsboro, NC - As part of an ongoing erosion control project a number of new features have been installed at Town Lake Park.
A new vista has been created, and a rustic walnut bench has been added with which to enjoy it. Additionally, three varieties of cyprus and a white cedar have been planted. The area is shady and cool during the heat of the day and often gets a nice breeze off of the lake.
Lots of herons have been seen in this area. Come see for yourself.
