Pittsboro, NC - The Friends of the Pittsboro Memorial Library is holding its fall book sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 10, 11, 12 from 10 am to 7 pm each
day.

Once again the book sale will be at Pittsboro Kiwanis Building, 309 Credle St., Pittsboro. See detailed directions to the Kiwanis Building online.

The number of books and selections will be as large as ever. And once again we will also have our usual great prices: Most hard cover books are $3, paperbacks $0.50-$2, plus CDs and videos. Some unusual or rare books will be specially priced in our collector's corner. You can view some of the examples of these special books here.

Times are bad, but books are timeless so we're offering big discounts on our usual great prices!

Thursday, when you get your best selection, 30% off sales $200 and up; 20% off sales of $100-199. Collector's Corner included.

Friday is half-price day, as always.

Saturday, you can buy books by the grocery bag for $5.

And there is more: If you are a current member of the Friends you should have received a post card with a $3 discount for your purchase. Be sure to bring it to the sale. Not a member of the Friends? Join up at the membership table and receive your discount when you join. A one year membership means you will receive another $3 discount card for the Spring 2010 book sale.
