Pittsboro, NC — N.C. 751 will be closed just north of U.S. 64 in Chatham County from 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, through late Saturday night, June 18, as a local film crew shoots a movie. The closure will be in the area of Horton Pond Road, east of Jordan Lake.

A detour will be in place, sending motorists coming off U.S. 64 to Farrington Point Road, just west of N.C. 751. They will go north on Farrington Point Road, then turn right on Horton Pond Road back to N.C. 751. Motorists traveling south on N.C. 751 will turn right on Horton Pond Road, then left on Farrington Point Road to reach U.S. 64.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for detour information and stay alert.
