Siler City, NC - The Western Chatham branch of the NAACP will honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the annual MLK Breakfast, Saturday, January 19th at 8am at Holy Trinity United Holy Church in Siler City.

Rev Curtis Eugene Gatewood will be the guest speaker. Rev. Gatewood is currently serving as 2nd Vice President for the North Carolina NAACP State Conference of Branches, as well as the Organizing/Mobilizing Chairman of “Historic Thousands on Jones St. (HKonJ)”. Rev. Gatewood is Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church in Oxford, NC and founder of “Save Our Little Ones”, a community-based ministry established to apply a variety of strategies focused on “saving” children and youth from the extremely violent, racially and sexually degrading behaviors being promoted in much of the music and videos aimed toward children today.
The NAACP encourages all youth and young adult to come and hear Rev. Gatewood’s message. The general public is cordially invited to attend. Tickets may be purchased at the door or call 919-837-8738 to reserve your ticket.
