The PTSA of Horton Middle School will sponsor basketball games between student teams and teams comprised of parents and staff members on February 18. Games between the Horton girls’ and boys’ teams and the adults will be held in the school gymnasium from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

The event will include a halftime show featuring cheering, step team, door prizes, and two raffles. Pizza, drinks and snacks will be on sale. Tickets cost $3.00 in advance and $4.00 at the door. Proceeds will be used for Horton Middle School gym improvements.

Mary Lou Torbert commented. "Everybody had a great time when we did this last year. It was an event that really brought the Horton community together. I've got a great team of parents working with me on the project this year and we know it will be a fun evening for everyone." Torbert is the Horton parent who has chaired the event for the past two years.
