About the GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards: To qualify for a GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT award, nonprofit organizations must be located in the North Carolina counties of Chatham, Durham, Orange and/or Wake and provide access to healthcare (primary mission); have total annual operating expenses of less than $2.5 million; and have been in existence as an independent 501(c)(3) for at least five years. Organizations are recognized for the success and achievements of their existing overall body of work, not just for new or specific initiatives.
