Pittsboro, NC - Over the last year Chatham Links has channeled over 5,700 visitors to over 100 “Chathamcentric” web sites.
Chatham resident Gene Galin created “Chatham Links” to be a community guide for Chatham County, NC that provides links to business, non-profit, and personal websites.
“I saw a need to help promote local web sites. The purpose of the Links web page is to help drive traffic to the web sites of local businesses and individuals,” said Gene Galin.
“You can add a link to your web site at no charge. Click on “suggest link” and fill out the form. It will only take a few minutes of your time. If you can’t find a category you fit in, you can make a category suggestion. Paid banner advertising is also available,” Galin said. “I hope the list will double or triple in size over the next year.”
The site is sponsored by the Chatham Journal and there are currently over 100 sites listed. These include the following:
