Pittsboro, NC - Has it been a while since you went to the library? If so, it's time for a visit. Chatham County public libraries have wireless internet access, all the latest best-sellers and new releases on DVDs for free. Join us this week for one of these events.

Chatham Community Library, Pittsboro

Tuesday, April 5 at 9:30 am: Story time with Miss Beth for infants ages birth to 2

Tuesday, April 5 at 10:30 am: Story time with Miss Beth for preschool children ages 3 to 5

Tuesday, April 5 at 6:30 pm: Family story time with Miss Beth

Tuesday, April 5 at 6:45 pm: The Friends of the Library Book Club will discuss "Evil Genes" in the Holmes Meeting room. Newcomers are welcome.

Thursday, April 7 at 6 pm.: The Library Crafters' group meets in the Homes Meeting Room. Bring your favorite needlework project and a snack, and enjoy the conversation and company. Newcomers are always welcome.

Friday, April 8 at 10:30 am: Pre-school story time with Miss Beth

Wren Memorial Library, Siler City

Wednesday, April 6 at 10 am: Pre-school story time with Miss Beth

Goldston Library, Goldston

Thursday, April 7 at 11 a.m.: Pre-school story time with Miss Beth

Did you know? Chatham Community Library now offers "live chat" reference service during library hours (M-Th 9-8; F 9-6; S 9-1).
Go to the library home page and look for the square that says "Ask us now." Your reference questions can be addressed online.

Award-winning authors Jeanne Birdsall and Sarah Dessen are coming in May to the Chatham Community Library in Pittsboro.
