Durham, NC - It's the big night for big cats. Immerse yourself in the color and culture of South Africa when you join Carolina Tiger Rescue at our fourth annual gala fundraiser benefiting the eighty wild cats in our care. The Black Tie & Tails Ball will take place on Saturday, February 26 from 7pm to 11pm at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham.

NBC 17 news anchor Donald Jones will emcee this "safari formal" event at the renowned Washington Duke Inn. Begin your evening by enjoying butlered hors d'oeuvres and your choice of beverages while browsing a silent auction area brimming with wine and dine packages, jewelry, decorative items, spa days, and more.

Savor a seated gourmet dinner beginning with curried butternut soup and featuring your choice of grilled filet mignon, roasted monkfish, or sweet potato gnocchi. Finish this superb meal with a delectable passion fruit mousse.

The evening peaks with the excitement of a live auction conducted by professional auctioneer Matt Holiday. This year's auction features remarkable items including travel packages, original art work, and a special surprise or two.

For more information about tickets, event sponsorship, or donating auction items, visit blacktieandtailsball.com. Tickets are $100 per person through 1/31/11 and $125 per person after that date.
