Pittsboro, NC - A survey aimed at gathering information on impressions about Chatham County and its towns is available online to the public. The survey, which will be available until the end of September, can be found at:

The Chatham County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) hired a team of professionals who work on image branding and downtown revitalization plans throughout the nation. Much of their work has been focused on communities in North and South Carolina. Project’s goal is to create a branded image for Chatham County, its municipalities, and major organizations that will generate a cohesive image, one that brings together all the diverse parts of Chatham County and its communities. The image is intended to appeal to everyone when considering living or doing business in Chatham County.

The EDC’s branding team has visited throughout the county and conducted several face-to-face interviews with key stakeholders in the county. The next step is promoting the survey and other methods to collect public input for the branding professionals to use in understanding the many perspectives in Chatham County.
