Pittsboro, NC - Chatham County property owners should check their next tax bill for a bright yellow flyer from the Solid Waste & Recycling Division that includes a survey on the back side. The survey questions focus on events, volunteer opportunities, composting, and business recycling. Feedback collected will help the division plan for future program development and expansion.

Completed surveys can be mailed, faxed, emailed, delivered in person to the division’s main office, or dropped off at any of the county’s 12 Collection Centers by August 31, 2011.

Property owners and residents who rent a home in Chatham can also take the survey online here.

Additional comments or questions about topics not addressed on the survey should be directed to Chatham’s waste reduction coordinator, Teresa Chapman at 919-542-5516 or by email.
