Pittsboro, NC - Tracy Baldwin, who is the lead trainer for Chatham County’s 911 Communications, recently received the award as 2014 Communications Training Officer of the Year from the North Carolina Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association.

On Jan. 20, 2015, County Commissioner Chairman Jim Crawford presented Baldwin with a resolution approved by the full Board of Commissioners honoring her achievements.

Baldwin has been with Chatham’s 911 Communications for 20 years and has served as lead trainer for five years. Her training responsibilities require monthly testing, many hours of continuing education and close monitoring to ensure that all communicators are on track with training requirements.
