Pittsboro, NC - The town of Pittsboro is banning all outdoor watering.
The Board of Commissioners voted Monday night to also ban the filling of swimming pools and ordered businesses to limit the use of evaporative cooling systems.
The new water restrictions take effect Nov. 1.
Chatham County is banning all outdoor watering with county-supplied water, including banning the use of drip irrigation. The ban is effective on Monday, Oct. 29.
