Pittsboro, NC - Chatham County's Government Access Channel is undergoing replacement and upgrade of equipment through Wednesday, October 9. It will be down until that time.

TIME WARNER CABLE CHANGES: Those accessing the county's TV channel through Time Warner Cable, the channel has been converted to digital and will be found on channel 97.4. The Central Carolina Community College channel will change to 97.5 in the Pittsboro area, but not in Sanford area where it is carried by Charter Cable.

Customers who need a digital adapter to view the channels can obtain one free Time Warner Cable if you request it by Dec. 1, 2013. After that date, the cost will be 99 cents a month per digital adapter.
