1. Minutes: Consideration of a request for approval of Board Minutes for regular meeting held May 21, 2007, work session held May 21, 2007, and continued meeting on Moratorium held May 22, 2007

2. Road Names: Consideration of a request from citizens for the naming of private roads in Chatham County as follows:

A. Clubhouse Lane
B. Terrells Trace

3. Recreation Master Plan Request: Consideration of a request to exempt the provisions of GS 143-64.31, request pricing in solicitation for a Recreation Master Plan, and adopt Resolution to Exempt the County from the Provisions of GS 143.64.31 (Attachment: Resolution)

4. Child Health Funds Acceptance for Health Department: Consideration of a request to accept Child Health funds in the amount of $3,500.00 awarded to the Health Department from the WCH/Children’s and Youth Branch

5. Work First Demonstration Grant: Consideration of a request to approve the Work First Demonstration Grant application

6. Request to Add “Bells” to State and County Maps: Consideration of a request to add “Bells” located in Chatham County to the State and County maps (Letter)

7. Resolution Requesting Assistance from Speaker of House for Funding Improvements to Northwood High School: Consideration of a request to adopt a Resolution in Support of The Chatham County Board of Education’s Request for State Funding to Widen Northwood High School Road (Attachments: Resolution, Cost Estimate)

PUBLIC INPUT SESSION

8. The Public Input Session is held to give citizens an opportunity to speak on any item, which does not appear on the day’s Agenda. The session is no more than thirty minutes long and speakers are limited to no more than five minutes each. Speakers are required to sign up in advance. Individuals who wish to speak but cannot because of time constraints will be carried to the next meeting and given priority. We apologize for the tight time restrictions. They are necessary to ensure that we complete our business. If you have insufficient time to finish your presentation, we welcome your comments in writing.

SECONDARY ROADS PRESENTATION

9. Secondary Roads Presentation: Presentation of the 2007-2008 Secondary Roads Presentation for Chatham County by Reuben Blakley, District Engineer and adoption of Resolution for Secondary Roads for the Chatham County Secondary Road Improvement Program for FY 2007-2008 (Attachments: Resolution, Trust Funds, Highway Funds)

PLANNING AND ZONING

10. County Zoning: Discussion of zoning portions of the County

11. Moratorium: Continuation of moratorium discussion with a potential forthcoming decision on whether or not to implement a moratorium

MANAGER’ S REPORTS

12. Manager’s Reports: The County Manager shall report on miscellaneous County business at this time.

COMMISSIONERS’ REPORTS

13. Commissioners’ Reports: Any Commissioner wishing to report on any County business may do so at this time.
