Pittsboro, NC - On Sunday, February 8, the Northwood High School Arts Education Foundation (NHSAEF) will sponsor a Valentine’s Fashion Show & Brunch, from 1:30-4:00 p.m. at the Pittsboro General Store Cafe. In addition to seeing a wide variety of fashions and enjoying a wonderful brunch, there will be door prizes and raffles, and the opportunity to find the perfect Valentine’s gift for that special someone.

Tickets are $20 for adults ($17 in advance) and $15 for students ($12 in advance). Individuals may get advance tickets from Vivian Christian (ticket sales director), NHSAEF board members, at the General Store Cafe in Pittsboro, and at La Vita Dolce in Southern Village.

Proceeds will fund five $1000 college scholarships (one each in choral music, dance, instrumental music, theatre arts, and visual arts) to be presented at the annual Northwood Awards Night in June. The foundation is working to establish an endowment so that these awards can be made in perpetuity.

Crystal Horton, Vice-President & Event Chair, has assembled a dedicated committee that has worked for many weeks to organize this major fundraiser of the year for our College Scholarship Fund. Committee members include:

1. ★ Model Director—Yvonne Holmes
2. ★ D.J. & M.C.—Rick & Ivye Arnold
3. ★ Make Up Artist—Bo Talia Med Spa
