The week-long camp involved various activities in and around the Greensboro and Raleigh areas. While touring the General Assembly, the students were able to meet Governor Bev Perdue.

The high school students also visited the campus of North Carolina State University and had a cookout with college level IFAL students. The two groups completed a service project that involved cleaning up and planting trees at William B. Umstead State Park in Raleigh.
