Three Chatham County students place at regional science fair

Winston-Salem, NC - Three students from Chatham County Schools placed at the Regional Science Fair held on Wednesday, February 23, at SciWorks in Winston-Salem.

They were:

Brianna de la Houssaye, Silk Hope School
Project title: “Why Are My Chickens That Color?”
Competition Category: Middle School Biology A
Award placement: First Place

Carson Jones, Northwood High School
Project title: “Eyes Vs. Ears”
Competition Category: High School Biology A
Award placement: Second Place

Chris Jaeger, Chatham Central High School
Project title: “The Effect of Different Types and Concentrations of Alcohols on the Voltage of a Fuel Cell”
Competition Category: High School Technology/Engineering
Award placement: Third Place

De la Houssaye and Jones will advance to the North Carolina Science and Engineering Fair.
