Teacher in Exceptional Children Department honored

Bennett, NC - Beverly Rhodes, a teacher at Bennett School, is the 2012 Chatham County Schools recipient of the Exceptional Children Teacher of Excellence Recognition as part of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Exceptional Children Division annual recognition program.

recognized at the North Carolina Department of Public Education’s EC Division’s 62nd Conference on Exceptional Children at the Koury Convention Center held November 14-16 in Greensboro.

“Every year the department identifies a teacher in the department that demonstrates innovative instructional programs or methodologies and teacher leadership,” explained Milinda Martina, program director.
