Silk Hope students participate in marketing contest

Silk Hope, NC - During the last nine weeks, eighth grade students at Silk Hope worked with teachers YoLonda Moody and Dara Jacob to compete in a County Marketing Contest sponsored by the North Carolina Council for Economic Education. Each student selected a county to research and then created a persuasive multimedia presentation to convince businesses and residents to move to that county.

The following students were school-level winners. Each received a $20 Wal-Mart gift certificate provided by the Silk Hope PTA and advanced to the statelevel competition.
