Pittsboro, NC - The Chatham County Board of Education held a regular meeting on Monday, July 23. Personnel changes were part of the closed session of the meeting.
Ingrid Bimbo, Principal of SAGE Academy, the alternative school in Siler City, will move to Chatham Middle School as Assistant Principal.
Paul Joyce, Assistant Superintendent of Auxiliary Services, will retire effective November 1.
“Paul's responsibilities are vast and his commitment to what is best for the students of Chatham County Schools is unwavering. Paul came to Chatham County Schools in 1971 as a third year teacher and has been a fixture here ever since. To say he will be missed is an understatement,” said Dr. Ann Hart, Superintendent.
