Chatham schools announce Open House dates

Chatham County, NC - Here is the schedule for open house dates at Chatham County schools.

Bennett School will have an open house on Thursday, August 23, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Bonlee School will hold an open house on Thursday, August 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Chatham Central High School will hold an open house on Thursday, August 23, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Chatham Middle School staff will meet students and families during an open house on Thursday, August 23, from 3:00-6:00 p.m.

Horton Middle School will hold its open house on Thursday, August 23, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

J.S. Waters will have its open house on Thursday, August 23. From 6:00-6:30 p.m. there will be a parent meeting with Principal Beverly Browne. Students and parents will visit classrooms from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Jordan-Matthews High School will have an open house on Thursday, August 23. Freshman orientation will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium. A schoolwide open house will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Moncure School will hold an open house on Thursday, August 23, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The event will begin with a brief meeting followed by time for parents and students to tour the building and meet the teachers.

North Chatham School will host an open house on Thursday, August 23. Families of students in grades one through five should come from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Families of middle school students should come from 6:00-7:00 p.m. There will be an open house for Kindergarten on Thursday, August 30, from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Northwood High School staff will have a floating open house Thursday, August 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Students will be able to pick up schedules and informally meet with teachers. On Friday, August 24, there will be a freshmen orientation from 8:00 a.m. until noon. This will be for rising freshmen only. Transportation will not be provided. It will be an opportunity for the students to go through their schedules, meet their teachers, learn more about Northwood before upperclassmen arrive.

Perry Harrison School staff will greet students and families during an open house on Thursday, August 23. The Pre-K through fourth grade open house will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and will begin in the multipurpose room. Fifth through eighth grade open house will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and will begin in the multipurpose room as well.

Pittsboro Elementary School will have an open house on Thursday, August 23, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

SAGE Academy will hold an open house on Thursday, August 23, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Siler City Elementary will have a “Meet the Teacher” evening on Thursday, August 23, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for all families. On Thursday, August 30, at 5:30 p.m. there will be a sit-down, informational meeting with kindergarten families in individual classrooms.

Silk Hope School plans its open house for Thursday, August 23. Students in kindergarten through third grade and their families should come from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Students in grades four through eight and their families should come from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Virginia Cross Elementary School staff will greet students and families on Thursday, August 23, at their alternate campus locations. There will be a “meet the teacher” time for students in grades three through five and their families at Chatham Middle School from 4:00-5:30 p.m. There will be a “meet the teacher” time for students in grades one and two and their families at Siler City Elementary School from 5:30-7:00 p.m. On Thursday, August 30, at 5:30 p.m. there will be a sit-down, informational meeting with kindergarten families in individual classrooms.
