Chatham County, NC - On Friday, December 16, a bluegrass trio performed for elementary students at Perry Harrison School and Pittsboro Elementary School. The trio delighted students with holiday-themed songs for the remainder of the performance.

The trio was comprised of Bobby Gales, who played banjo and guitar Charity Dixon, who played stringed bass, and Kendall Gales, who played mandolin. Bobby Gales and Dixon sang many of the pieces. During song introductions, Gales talked with the students about the role of each instrument in the ensemble.

The audience joined the performers in singing holiday favorites that included Joy to the World, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells, and Frosty the Snowman.
