Siler City, NC - Ten students at SAGE Academy were recognized in the “Triple A” program for the month of February and were treated to lunch at Compadre’s Mexican restaurant in Siler City on Friday, March 20. In addition to lunch off campus, each time a student qualifies, his or her name is entered into a drawing at the year’s end for additional prizes.
The “Triple A” program at SAGE Academy rewards students who consistently excel in the areas of academics, attendance, and attitude. To be eligible each month, students may qualify in two ways. The students who qualified in February met the following requirements: improvement in grades for each class or maintaining at least a B average; attendance to school at least 95% of the time; and no discipline referrals to the office.
Those students were James Alston, Keona Alston, Gloria Borrayo, Michael Brooks, Trevor Felts, Tim Letkemann, Andrew Moore, Irving Moreno-Rosas, Ashley Rhoads, and Elizabeth Rodriguez.
