Run for the Mariners 5K is a big success

Pittsboro, NC - The second Perry Harrison School PTSA Run for the Mariners 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk on Saturday, November 17 was a great success. Thirty-one runners turned out to run the 5K and many others did the one mile.

Congratulations to our winners: adult male, Jason Selong; adult female, Jennifer Parks; student male, Richard Torbert; and student female, Kerri Snipes. The event was such fun that we plan to do it twice a year. Look for more information in the spring. Thanks to all who helped organize the event as well as the participants.

The PTSA raised approximately $2500 from this event.
