Pittsboro, NC - The Northwood High School advanced course of study in foods group will host an international food gala in the school cafeteria on Saturday, December 8, at 4:00 PM. Admission will be $10 for anyone over the age of ten.
All four high schools in the district will be participating in the event that will feature foods from all over the world. Chatham Central will provide American regional food. Jordan-Matthews will provide food from Trinidad and Tobago. Northwood will feature foods from ten different nations including Greece, Spain, Jamaica, Mexico, Cuba, and Asian countries.
Several other area high schools and two Wake County businesses, Jacks Seafood and Peak Olive Oils, will be special guests.
