Pittsboro, NC - Northwood High School Future Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students competed at the State Leadership Conference in Greensboro on Tuesday, April 4. The group was successful in bringing home the following honors:
Beverly Holden, Erin Bradford, and Kristy Morgan received gold medals and are North Carolina's entry in the national competition in Community Chapter Service Project Senior Division.
Alli Maloney, Caitlin Ferguson, Brittany Sturdivant, Taylor Elkin, Erin Greger, Jessica Brauner, Gena Kirkman and Shelby Vanhoy received gold medals and are North Carolina's entry in the national competition in Parliamentary Procedure Senior Division.
The national winners will be competing this summer in Nashville Tennessee.
“These students did a wonderful job in representing Northwood High School”, said advisor and faculty member Eileen Williams.
