North Chatham student recognized in State Science Fair

Raleigh, NC - Four students from Chatham County Schools participated in the State Science Fair held Saturday, March 28, at Meredith College in Raleigh. Nolan Brown, a sixth grade student of Karen Kaczman at North Chatham School, received special awards for his research on oil spills.

His project entitled “Oil Spill: What Materials Can Remove Oil from Water?” received special recognition of a certificate and award by the U.S. Navy/U.S. Marines. The NC American Water Works Association awarded Brown a certificate for his research about an environmental issue concerning wate
