Local school bands to perform

Perry Harrison band schedules concert

On Tuesday, April 26 at 7 p.m., the Perry Harrison School Band will be performing several selections in the multi-purpose room for the community to help raise money for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. Selections will include "Jamaica Farewell," "God Bless America," "Chimes of Westminster," "Furioso," and "Rock Around the Clock."

The band will also perform for the school and community on Friday, April 29 at 1:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Selections included are "Caribbean Fever," "The Sound and the Fury," "Jamaica Farewell," "Gallant March," and "Rock Around the Clock." Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend. Donations received at the door will go to the Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.

North Chatham band to perform for the community

The North Chatham Band will perform a variety of tunes for the community on Thursday, April 28 at 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Some selections include "America the Beautiful," "The Tempest," a jazz version of "Sweet Georgia Brown," and "Scarborough Fair," "Ancient Spirits," and "What A Wonderful World."

The North Chatham Band will also perform for the school and community on Friday, April 29 at 8:15 a.m. and again at 9:15 a.m. Admission is free and everyone is invited to hear some jazz, funky rock, and traditional pieces.
