Goldston, NC - On Thursday morning, November 20, the J.S. Waters School faculty and staff were astounded to find forty-seven cases of food and five cases of water at the front entrance of the school. An attached note read, "Help for tornado victims, Thanks, Unknown 82nd Airborne Paratrooper."

The kindness of strangers in this time of need sent chills and tears throughout the faculty who found the note.
“We would like to express our thanks for the generosity of this special individual. The J.S. Waters faculty is currently reaching out to local churches that are sending emergency response teams to the areas in order to deliver the food supplies,” said Catherine Moore, receptionist.
