Goldston, NC - Each semester Scott Financial Services donates a bicycle to be given away to students that have had perfect attendance. At J. S. Waters School, along with the perfect attendance, students can have no tardies, no early dismissals, and no discipline referrals. Student names are put in a cup and the name of one lucky winner is drawn.
During the first semester of the 2007-08 school year there were twenty-four students at J.S. Waters who were eligible for the drawing. Morgan Moser was the winner of the bicycle that was presented by Marlyn and Wynne Scott on Wednesday, March 5. Morgan, a third grader, is the daughter of Elvis and Ann Moser of Bear Creek.
