Siler City, NC - Patrick Dorsett, a sophomore at Jordan-Matthews High School, placed third in the regional FBLA public speaking competition on Saturday, February 2. The event was held at Eastern Randolph High School.

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association with a quarter million middle through postsecondary level students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields.

Dorsett has been a member of Jordan-Matthews chapter of FBLA for one year. His success in the regional public speaking event qualified him to represent Jordan-Matthews in the April FBLA State Leadership Conference in Greensboro.
