Siler City, NC - On Tuesday, December 2, Jordan-Matthews High School will sponsor Making College Financial Planning Count. This free seminar will be held in the school auditorium from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. All parents and students are invited to attend this one-hour program, where everyone will gain an understanding of how the college financing process works.
Topics to be discussed include how to plan for and manage college costs; public versus private colleges and universities; types of financial aid that are available; options for developing a college funding strategy; how colleges and universities look at a divorced household; and how to send your child to college without risking your family's financial future.
More information is available online at http://www.makingitcount.com/seminar. The counseling department encourages all parents and students to attend and learn more about the financial aid process.
