Pittsboro, NC - High school seniors across Chatham County Schools will need adult mentors to support them in completing new state-required graduation projects. An interest meeting for potential mentors will be held at Northwood High School in the media center on Monday, January 26, at 7:00 p.m.
Although the meeting will be held in Pittsboro, it is intended to assist in finding mentors for students across the county.
"The mentor will be a community link that will help the students' projects evolve and be successful. This is a great chance to enrich the educational experience of a high school student," commented Megan Johnson, a teacher and graduation project coordinator at Northwood.
