Good deeds on Good Friday at Horton Middle School

Pittsboro, NC - Members of the new National Junior Honor Society at Horton Middle School participated in a clean up at their own home fields on Friday, April 21. The students gathered early before school began to clean up the fields and bleacher area around the James Arthurs Baseball Fields at Horton.

"Our club takes pride in our school and we consider ourselves "super fans of our wildcat teams," said teacher Tracy Miller.

Art teacher Stephen Helmer and Miller lead a group of enthusiastic children through the clean up and when the group left, the fields were spotless.

"We are happy to help!" commented Jacob Fowler, eighth grade co-president.
