Pittsboro, NC - The Woods Charter School Foundation presents their Spring Founders' Series "Global Culture in a Flat World" featuring Lowell Hoffman, Head of Global Sourcing Solutions and Adjunct Professor at Kenan-Flagler Business School. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 24 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at Woods Charter School on 160 Woodland Grove Lane, Chapel Hill, NC.

In today's highly diverse and global world, it has never been more important to better understand and be understood by people from other cultures whether we encounter them in our daily lives or in travels abroad. Learn about the many elements of cultural differences that exist in the way we gather and process information, make decisions, manage time and relate to others. The program includes anecdotes and discussion of situations and experiences that will develop our ability to become more effective in our multi-cultural exchanges.

Lowell Hoffman enjoyed a successful business career including 22 years as global Vice President of Purchasing and Supply for 3 multinational corporations. His company, Global Sourcing Solutions, provides strategy based consulting services and professional development workshops to multinational clients. Lowell’s global experience spans 38 countries, more than 25 consulting clients and numerous conference presentations and published articles. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
