J.S. Waters collects cans for CORA

Goldston, NC - The J.S. Waters Jr. Beta Club teamed up with the Student Council to hold a canned food drive for CORA. Students collected 500 cans. Both of the groups focus on service projects for the school and community.

CORA Food Pantry was founded in 1989 as the Chatham OutReach Alliance, Inc. (CORA) with the sole mission of providing emergency food to those in need throughout Chatham County.

The team members are Chase Mashburn, Megan Rush, Tyson Measamer, Savannah Dowdy, Caleb Johnson, Lucille Gentry, Faith Tysor, A'nya Marsh, Bailee McIver, Nicholas Marsh, Hayley Mashburn, Kayleigh Edwards, Olivia Husdon, Madelyn Elkins, Lauren Oldham, Olivia Bright, Gracie Maness, Wesley Buie, Jacob Ziblay, Jenna Gilliland, Iain McMillan, Morgan Rush, Jordan Harris, Macy Coley, Abby Elkins, Marissa Gentry.
