Siler City, NC - Area high schools, along with representatives from the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC), are co-hosting a Financial Aid Night for parents and students who are interested in learning how to navigate financial aid opportunities.
The Financial Aid Night will be held on Tuesday, December 4, at 6:30 PM in the Jordan-Matthews High School auditorium. Jordan-Matthews is located at 910 East Cardinal Street in Siler City. Parents and students from all four high schools are welcome to attend.
Sarita Broadway, CFNC Senior Regional Representative, will present information on financial aid basics, how to access the free application for federal student aid, state and federal financial aid programs and CFNC resources.
After the presentation, a panel of financial aid administrators will lead a question and answer session for parents and students.
Questions can be directed to George Greger-Holt, Executive Director for Student Services and Support Programs, at 919.542.6400 or geogreg@chatham.k12.nc.us.
“This is an excellent opportunity to learn about financial aid resources and how to best submit applications for financial aid,” said Greger-Holt.
