Pittsboro, NC - Chatham County Board of Education members will participate in a webinar on Friday, April 30, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. that is designed to help board members prepare for the 2010 state budget process. Members will be able to meet at the central office in the superintendent's office for a webinar or can connect remotely from a location of their choice.

North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) Director of Governmental Relations Leanne Winner will lead the webinar. It will consist of three parts:

2) a review of the Governor’s proposed budget (to be released on April 20th) and what it means for K-12; and

3) a review of information that may be available from the April 15th revenue collections which could provide any sort of economic forecast for North Carolina.
