Pittsboro, NC - The Chatham County Board of Education has called an emergency meeting for Monday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. via telephone conference call. The meeting purpose is to consider approving a resolution that must accompany a grant application district officials are completing for additional federal stimulus funds in the area of capital improvement. The conference call will be based in the superintendent’s office at the central office in Pittsboro. This grant application is in addition to the one the Board approved that was submitted at the end of July.
