Brady-Andrew, a native of Bennett, is a graduate of Chatham Central High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She taught at Bennett Elementary School and served as the assistant principal at Siler City Elementary School before becoming the principal in August of 2004. She was also honored as the Chatham County Principal of the Year in 2006.

“I was recently interviewed by student anchors for our WSCE tv show and was asked if I liked being a principal. My response was that yes, I like being a principal, but I really like being a principal at Siler City Elementary School; to work with the students, staff and families at Siler City Elementary makes my work very fulfilling. Being Principal of the Year is more of an honor for our entire school and validates the hard work and dedication of each member of the Siler City Elementary community (staff, students and families),” said Brady-Andrew.
