Bonlee, NC - As part of its PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) program, Bonlee School has a monthly homeroom competition. Homerooms may earn one point for each day with perfect attendance. An additional point is given for each day without any discipline referrals. Bonus points are also given at the end of the month for homerooms with zero tardies to school. Bonus points are also awarded for the cleanest classrooms. Once all the points are tallied, the winning homeroom is treated to a group reward of their choice.

Below is a list of the top performing homerooms:
Thurman - 43(Grand Winner)
Dixon - 40
A. Phillips - 40
Palmer - 38
T. Phillips - 38
Webster - 38
King - 37
Conrad - 36
Kirk - 36
Outland – 36

Bonlee’s hard-working custodial staff recognized these classes as the cleanest for May (their bonus points were factored into their final totals):
K-5 - Jones and Thurman
6-8 - A. Phillips

“We have had another great month of competition. Students and staff continue to take pride in being ‘Ready S.E.T. Go’ to be at school and to do their absolute best,” noted Daniel Haithcox, Principal.
