The Chatham County Board of Education will recognize past Board members at a reception on November 13. A set of two plaques containing the names of past and present members has been created and will hang in the central office. The current Board members will honor previous members during the reception prior to the regular Board meeting that begins at 7:30 p.m. The reception will begin at 7:00 p.m. Board family members and the public are invited to attend.
The school district needs the assistance of the public in locating former Board members, particularly those who have moved from the local area, to ensure they can be invited to the reception. Please contact Pam Cathcart at (919)542-3626 or cathcart@chatham.k12.nc.us if you have contact information for former Chatham County Board of Education members.
