Siler City, NC - Lee Ringer a meteorologist for News 14 Carolina in Raleigh visited fifth grade science classes at Virginia Cross Elementary on Wednesday, March 25.
The visit was arranged as a culminating activity to the students finishing the unit about weather. Throughout the unit the students incorporated math and science to track and graph the weather over the last two months. Additionally, they learned how to use the clouds to assist with these predictions.
During his visit Ringer answered questions about his career and shared information about the weather in Siler City.
