Pittsboro, NC - The students at Pittsboro Elementary avidly participated in voting for their favorite ACC "Big Four" school while raising money for the Chatham County Relay for Life. Each vote represented a penny to be donated to Relay for Life in the name of their favorite team. The school raised over $835 with the annual project that is held each year during the week of the ACC tournament.

The winning school was UNC with over $500 donated. Duke came in a distant second while NC State and Wake Forest rounded out the group.

“We would like to thank our students, staff, and parents for their support in raising money for the Relay for Life and a cure for cancer,” said David Hamm, Principal.
