Pittsboro, NC - The 10% Campaign is an initiative of the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS) and North Carolina Cooperative Extension that encourages consumers to commit 10 percent of their existing food dollars to support local food producers, related businesses, and communities.

Through the campaign website - www.nc10percent.com - consumers and business will pledge to spend 10 percent of their food dollars locally, purchasing products from area farmers and food producers.

Check out Chatham County Cooperative Extension's Local Foods Website at http://bit.ly/bNqv0S for resources on where to buy locally in Chatham and how to grow your own.

I hope you will support the campaign by signing up today and encouraging your friends and the businesses you support to also join. Please feel free to share this email and help get the word out.
