Chatham County Health Department releases First-ever annual health of the county report

In many health areas, Chatham County performs very well.

Pittsboro, NC - The Chatham County Public Health Department (CCPHD) is pleased to welcome the public to its Board of Health Meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of Central Carolina Community College (Pittsboro, NC). CCPHD officially releases its
first-ever annual county health report, which shares vital information and statistics in a variety of health-related areas. "In many health areas, Chatham County performs very well. We hope this report will serve as a road map for health improvements in the future," stated Dorothy Cilenti, Health Director.

The meeting agenda also includes an informative presentation by Ben Hitchings (Triangle J Council of Governments) about Land Use Planning and Healthy Living across the Life Span. Other agenda items include Board of Health 2003 Annual Awards and information about Animal Services and Public Health Accreditation.
