Pittsboro, NC - Eric Andrews, broker for Realty World Carolina Properties, recently attended the Land Leadership Academy sponsored by the Realtors Land Institute and held at the Evergreen Conference Center in Stone Mountain Georgia. Andrews was invited by the NC Realtors Land Institute, and received a scholarship from the board to attend.
A private firm, Resource Development Associates out of South Carolina created the course for the National Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute as a means to develop leadership qualities in its members, groom future leaders for RLI, and to provide a forum to identify, explore, and discuss issues that are and will be affecting the land brokerage industry.

The two-day course covered topics such as: Leading in a Multi Generational World, Decision Making, Problem Solving, Influencing, and Leadership Communications. “This was one of the best courses I have ever attended. It was thorough and demanding, and I honestly believe I learned as much from my peers as I did from the instructors. Many of us are thrown into leadership situations without any training or guidance. This course is going to give me the tools to assist RLI in the future, and pay dividends in my office.” Andrews commented.
The course was attended by: the National President of RLI John McAllister, the NC RLI President Kyle Swicegood, various members of the National Association of Realtors Board and RLI members throughout the Southeast from Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
