Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q participating in 'A Taste of Chatham'

Siler City, NC - Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q announced that they will participate in the 15th annual capital campaign fundraiser, “A Taste of Chatham.” The event will take place on Sunday, August 3 from 4:00 pm until 7:00pm Governor’s Club. Proceeds from the event will be allocated to help pay the mortgage for the Western Chatham Senior Center in Siler City.

An array of signature dishes from local restaurants will be available to attendees, including Bar-B-Q, Brunswick stew and hushpuppies from Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q. In addition, there will be a live auction to help raise funds for the center. Tickets are are $50.00 per person and can be purchased by contacting the Chatham County Council on Aging at (919) 542-4512.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to support our local community and be a part of such a worthwhile cause,” said Gregory Moore, founder and CEO of Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q. “I encourage all to come out and support our seniors and, of course, stop by our station to get a taste our Bar-B-Q.”
