Chatham Economic Development Corporation seeks new board members

Pittsboro, NC - The Chatham County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is a private, non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote job creation and private capital investment in Chatham County. The EDC is currently recruiting Chatham County residents as applicants for its eleven-member Board of Directors.

Applicants are required to complete an application, available on the EDC website, www.chathamedc.org/about-us. Applicants can also view and download “Expectations of Board Members,” which details the time commitment involved and other details of board membership.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009. For more information, contact Dianne Reid, President of the Chatham County EDC, at 919-542-8275.
